The original German edition of Kraftwerk's "Autobahn" has a much more complex cover picture, depicting the view from the inside of a car driving on a highway (Autobahn, in German). The most iconic version is a simplified blue and white image of a highway traffic sign. The fun fact lies actually on the back cover, where we can see the members on the band sitting on the back seat of a car. All four of them. Thing is, Wolfgang Flur was not a full-time member of the band by the time the record was released. He later replaced Emil Schult. So some editions have the original picture, and some others have a Flur head superimposed over Schult’s.
